Luminous Fashion Show
These are the designs created and constructed for the Luminous Fashion Show held at The University of Texas-Austin on April 24, 2009.
The following pictures show the bridal gown and three-piece collection that were all designed, draped, patterned and constructed by me.

Design
When I designed this bridal gown, I was inspired by glamorous, easy-to-wear bridal gowns. I wanted the bride to feel comfortable, but still feel glamorous on her wedding day. The finished design has beaded trim on the neckline and waistline. The halter neckline has a small slit in the bust area to add a little bit of sassiness, but not it does not take away from the silver beaded detail. The skirt is a classic A-line with a chapel length train. The fabric used in this bridal gown is diamond white silk dupioni.

Design
With the Color Collection, I centered my designs around colorful evening wear that is fun and easy to wear. I also tried to incorporate some modernity with the floral print silk organza detail while using classic lines in the evening wear. My aim was to have fun, easy-to-wear evening gowns to add some style to any formal event. The fabrics used wear navy, fuchsia and royal purple silk dupioni, and a floral print silk organza.
